Introduction:
Good morning, dear visitors,
students. We are very glad that you have chosen time and have
decided to visit us. We have today an open
lesson.

Good morning pupils! I´m glad to see

Our lesson’s theme is
“Traveling. Types of tourism. Popular
routes”.
Students make some
sentences by naming different countries and types of transports how
to get there.
T: Let’s start with the
countries. What countries do you know?
P1: P2:
P3: (students name popular
countries)
T: Great, you know so many
countries. Look at the board, please. Where can you see and visit
these things? (work with slides)
P1: P2:
P3: (studets look at slides and
say phrases)
Necessary clothes for
travelling
T: Fine. And what things should
we take? Work in groups of four. There are a lot of different
things on the desks, choose only those you need and call
them.
P1: P2:
P3: (students come up to the desk
on which lays different clothes their task select necessary clothes
for travelling and pack the luggage by commenting their
choice).
T: Well done! Take your
seats.

T: And how can we
travel?

tourist countries).
T: That’s great. You have sheets
of paper on your desks, please, take them. You’ll listen to the
sounds of transport means and match the picture and the word. Is
the task clear for you? Picture.1

forms : they listen to the sounds of different transports and
corralate an illustration with the word then make a check at the
blackboard and pronounce the grammatical
structure).

T: Well done, my dear friends!
Now make a circle, please. We are going to speak about our
travelling. Look at the board. What is the
country?
P1:
T: Right you are. It’s China. We
will pronounce the sentences one by one and hold hands. I’ll
start.
P1: P2:
P3: (the slide describes the
journey in illustrations, the students stand in a circle, each
speaks a sentence on the reference pictures and takes his
neighbor’s hand, the result is a story about traveling to China,
thus all the studied grammatical structures are worked out and
stress relief occurs through handshakes)
T: That’s
great. You may take your
seats.
2.Group
work
T: Let’s work in groups.
Each group has an envelop. You can see a plan of travelling, a list
of basic words and some pictures (a flag and sightseeing) there.
Complete your plan. Picture.2

P3: (students work in groups, in
the envelope of each group a flag of a certain country and 2-3
sights, the task of each group is to supplement the travel
description plan with necessary vocabulary, members of other groups
should not see illustrations).
T: Are you ready? Let’s check
then. Read out your plans but don’t name the countries, other
groups should guess them.

group read their descriptions, without speaking the names of the
countries, members of other groups should be guided by the
description of which countries).
