• 1961-Defense Advanced Research Agency (DARPA) no task of the US Department of defense has begun a project to create an experimental network of transmission packages. This network, called ARPANET, was originally intended to study methods for ensuring reliable communication between computers of different types. Protocols of data transfer in ARPANET — TCP/IP network were developed. TCP / IP is a set of communication protocols that define how different types of computers can communicate with each other.
