From January 27 to March 12, 2025, Akerke Sakbayeva, a doctoral candidate at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), is undertaking a research internship at the Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya (APIUM). The program, aimed at fostering international academic collaboration and exchanging experiences in Islamic studies, is supervised by Professor PhD Askin Binti Ab Halim, who actively contributes to the professional development of participants. During the internship, participants collect empirical data in APIUM's academic library and engage in discussions to refine their dissertation research alongside academic advisors. This initiative broadens the academic horizons of young scholars and enhances cooperation between universities.
