Chemistry hasn't been taught frequently as a CLIL topic in Kazakhstan up to this point, presumably because the objectives of teaching science and learning foreign languages appear to be at odds with one another. In order to demonstrate how both language proficiency and scientific learning goals can be fostered within one integrated idea, this article proposes a model that combines the goals of CLIL with the goals of science instruction.
