T I Learning adjectives o give the each pair shuffled matching cards. Asking the learners to find extreme adjectives and lay them on the table. Then checking as a class.Then asking the learners to try to match the normal adjectives with extreme adjectives • Play the CD once for students to listen and check their answers. II Teaching • Writing on the board: awful = very bad, hilarious = very funny, etc. Explaining to students that an extreme adjective already has a strong meaning and can’t be used with very: very awful, very hilarious.
