Warming up

The teacher asks name all the things from first aid box:

Injury-

bruise- a skin injury has

darker in colour, often as a result of being hit by something

break- to separate suddenly

burn- to be hurt, damaged, or destroyed by fire or extreme heat

sprain- to cause an injury  to a joint (= a place where two bones are connected) by a sudden movement

(twist)

to rub your skin with your nails

wound- a damaged area of the body, such as a cut or hole in the skin made by a weapon

cut- to injure surface of skin or to divide or make something smaller, using a sharp tool,

especially a knife

Bump- to hit

something with force

Concussion- temporary

damage to the brain caused by a fall or violent

shaking:

to pinch- to press skin between two hard things such as a finger and a thumb

sting- an insect, or animal painful injury, usually with a poison, making a very small hole in the skin:

bite- to use your teeth

to cut into something or someone

hobble- to walk in an awkward way, because the feet

or legs are injured

casualty- a person injured in a serious accident

emergency room- the part of a hospital where people go when they are ill or injured and need quickly treatment

cast- it holds a broken bone immobile from moving

bandage, dressing- a strip material used to  protect an injured part of the body.

medical plaster- a small dressing used for not serious injuries

Teacher gives text with sentences related to the new theme.

The aim: To develop pupils speaking skills and create friendly atmosphere

Efficiency: By wishing each other they feel better and feel the support of others

Students of the class are listed.

Students' attention is drawn to the lesson.

• Learners name the things using previous vocabulary.

Pupils write the words under the pictures

One by one learners should guess the words to complete the sentences

The teacher to assess learners for their ability.
