- What inventions can you name
that are from China?
(Leaners’
suggestions).
Teacher writes the ideas on
the board in order to compare later.
Leaners are suggested to look at pictures-
flashcards inventions (Teacher prints out or just
projects). Here are some words for
talking about China:
silk, tea, salt, sugar,
porcelain, a variety of spices, to import, to export, cotton,
ivory, wool, gold, and silver, goods.
Leaners look at the pictures
and guess the words.
Teacher pronounces the words for less
-able learners, high level achievers can try to pronounce by
themselves.(Diffirentiation)
Learners work with active
vocabulary, drill pronunciation and translation, make notes of the
new words.
