  1. Organization moment

Greeting: Teacher greets and asks some questions for checking homework.

II. Division of groups

Teacher divides students into 2 groups. Students choose the pictures and divide into 2 groups: 1st group is “Healthy habits”, 2nd group is “Unhealthy habits”.

III. Brainstorming

Teacher uses “5Ws question strategy” to open the lesson. Teacher asks question: “Who drank plenty of water?”then student which answers to the question stands in front of the class and answers to other questions which students ask using When? What? Where? Why?.

For example:When did you drink it?

What did you drink?

Where did you drink?

Why did you drink?

In this way Ss identify the theme of the lesson.




Task 1

(T-S) (S-S) (G)Teacher uses “Pre, while, post-reading” strategy to identify the detail of the text.

Pre-reading task: Teacher asks Ss to look at the picture and read the title and the key words.

While-reading task:T asks question: What do you think the text is about?

Post-reading task: After reading True/False statements.
