  • understand and make some sentences using active vocabulary

  • use singular and plural forms and make sentences using active vocabulary

Some learners will be able to:

  • make some sentences and give details to support their answers using active vocabulary, discuss and retell the text using topic vocabulary

Presentation

Teacher demonstrate new words:

body, arm, leg, hand, foot, back, neck, shoulder, head, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hair, back… and they write new words on their copy books.

Learners stand in circle and say a body word. Next learner points to the body part then says another body part. How many body parts can learners remember?



Task 1

(G) Learners divided into 4 groups ‘‘Heads’’, ‘‘Shoulders’’ ,‘‘ Knees’’, ‘‘Toes’’

Teacher introduce adjectives to describe people. Demonstrate PTT with adjectives -short/tall /medium height

-Thin /slim /fat/medium slim .

Each group has leader . A leader count correct answers and give learners a coin.

Think-Pair-Share’ strategy

Teacher divides learners into 4 groups. Each group take a grammar task.(Full stop, question mark, a comma, an exclamation mark.),Learners should think about the grammar words and discuss with neighbor, then group make up the rule. Than groups make up rules and poster ,present it and write sentences
