Aim: to increase the
motivation of students to study the English subject through
acquaintance with the cultural traditions of the country of the
language being studied.
Objectives:
1. Work out and summarize the
studied material on the topic
“Christmas”.
2. To promote the development
of a culture of communication, the ability to work in
cooperation.
3. Train students in the use
of previously studied material.
4. To develop interest in the
subject through the involvement of students in vocabulary and
grammar games.
Equipment: Two small Christmas
trees, Christmas gifts, postcards, toys, garlands, snowflakes,
posters, colored paper, foil, glue, scissors, cardboard, pencils,
felt-tip pens, tasks on cards for
games.
On the eve of the event, the
classroom is decorated with toys, snowflakes, garlands,
posters.
