Org. moment (5 minutes) – Hello! Today’s activity is not an ordinary one. We have an interesting board game! At first you must be divided into four teams. For this I use online Random generator. Now please take cards with your characters. So, each team has a linguist, a reader, a speaker, a reporter, a grammarian and a designer. |

2.1 Stations – Today I want you to show your knowledge of English generally. Station 1. Lexical task (10 minutes) - At this station you must match the parts of English proverbs and its translation. This task is for the linguists of your team. You may use the dictionary. |
Each part of the proverb is on a separate sheet of paper, there is no translation of the proverb, children must find it in the dictionary |
Children perform the task. They get a token with a letter on it for completing the task correctly. |

Station 2. Grammar task – As one of the proverbs you’ve just found says, knowledge is power. So you should do the grammar tasks given in the envelopes. This task is for the grammarians of your team. |

They get a token with a letter for performing the task correctly. |

Station 3. Mosaic task. Sports - Without doubt to be healthy you should do exercises regularly. I give you puzzles to collect and you should name the sport. |
Designers from each team do a puzzle and name the sport. |
A token is given if all the parts of the puzzle is constructed correctly and named. |

Station 4. Let’s speak. - Now it is speakers’ turn to show their knowledge. You should throw the cube and speak on the given cards.

The speakers speak about food, hobby, movies, friends, music, animals, birthday, holidays, season, school. |
A token is given if all the questions are answered correctly. |

Station 5. Reading task and let’s repeat action. - Now it is readers’ and reporters’ turn to show their knowledge. You should throw the cube and read the text on the given cards and do the tasks. |

Key word. - Now you have got all the jettons and so you can find out what the key word is. |
The pupils find out the key word. |
