Class organization:

Activity: “Round activity”

Action: Learners throw the ball to each other pronouncing new words from previous lesson.

  • Divide into 3 groups. Using with the members of family.

  1. Grandparents

  2. Parents

  3. Children

-Teacher asks learners about the topic of the lesson and introduces the lesson objectives

Task 1: (GW) Teacher asks each group to find nouns adjectives and divide into groups on a piece of paper.

Teacher shows their new words: dad, niece, son, uncle, grandson, serious, grandfather, weak, mum, daughter, polite, aunt, brother, sister, funny, quiet, strong, clever, grandmother, rude, noisy, granddaughter, silly and nephew.

Action: children divide and write nouns and adjectives using presentation or cards to introduce members of their family and quality

Task 2: (GW)Understanding the text by watching

Activity: Watching video

Action: Children watch video as a group and answer the questions from exercise 2.

Task 3: (IW) Children listen and repeat. Find the opposites.

Activity: Describing the pictures ex 4

Action: Learners write and speak about adjectives

Example: strong=weak

Activity: (WC) Doing physical exercise

Our families

All families are larger (spread arms out wide)

Some families are smaller (all arms close the together)

And I love my family very much! (put hand on the chest)

Action: Children make a round looking at interactive board and do exercises

Task 4: (PW, GW) Students use the adjectives from ex 5 to write sentences about their family relationships and make a dialogue. Children put the sentences from ex 8 in correct order.

Activity: role-playing fame and writing sentences

Action: making the dialogue about their family relationships, pupils go to the blackboard and act out the dialogue. Then pupils put words on the right place. For example: Jane is very funny.
