The aim of the lesson:

• to give an information about friendship;

• to develop pupils’ pronunciation

Procedure of the lesson:

Leader: Good morning, dear teachers and the intelligent pupils of our school! Welcome to our concert “Friendship is Forever”. I wish you the best of every thing. Today our children will read poems about friendship, perform a play, dance and sing songs. If you are ready to watch we’ll begin!

Friendship is the most important part of our life. Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.

Friendship is like a precious flower,

Ready to bloom every hour.

It may stop growing or keep on flowing,

But you’ll still have it forever.

Author: Cat go to the hens.
Cat: Dear hens, give me some eggs!
Hens: I want to eat. If you give us some seeds, we will give you a lot of eggs.
Author: Cat saw a mouse and caught it.
Cat: I’ll eat you unless you bring me some seeds.
Author: Mouse brought seeds, hens gave eggs, shop assistant gave chewing - gum, girls gave water, tree gave leaves, cow gave milk, the Cotton girl gave its tail.

Leader: A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and on of the best things you can be.
