Phonetic drill:

Teacher drills new words and asks learners to repeat the words altogether, then individually.

My family’s professions.

My name is Kairat. I am a 5th grade student in a Secondary school. Our teacher gave us the task to write about our family jobs. There are four members in my family. My father, my Mother, my sister and me.

My father is firefighter. He goes to work every day and he needs to be brave. Firefighters save peoples’ lives. They fight against the fire. They can prevent huge forest fires.

My Mother is a teacher. Her job is also difficult. She goes to work early and prepares lessons. Mom comes home and checks a lot of students’ works. Sometimes she can sit till night preparing for lessons but she likes her work.

My sister wants to be a doctor. She played with us the game “doctors” when we were kids. We had some toys like doctor’s tools. I laid in a bed as a patient and it was full of fun.

I made a decision: I want to be a firefighter when I grow up. I’ll be brave and strong enough to fight against the fire to save people’s lives. I can also save the nature and do kind things in my life.
