Snow leopard •
Taxonomically , the snow leopard
was long classified in the
monotypic genus Uncia . [4]
Since
phylogenetic studies revealed
the relationships among
Panthera species, it is
considered a member of this
genus . [5] [6] [7]
Two subspecies were
described based on
morphological differences, but
genetic differences between the
two have not been confirmed. It
is therefore regarded as a
monotypic species . [8]

The question of life
•
The body length of the leopard is 120-150 cm, the length of the tail is
up to 90 cm, and the weight is 23-43 kg. Interestingly, such a large
predator does not attack a person. There is nothing wrong with a cat
meowing, making loud noises, and whispering in its ears. The snow
leopard in the mountains will not have a permanent home. Only
when they are puppies do they seem to live temporarily in mountain
caves. Leopards begin to reproduce from 3-4 years of age. The
number of puppies ranges from 1 to 5. Due to the sharp decline in the
number of snow leopards, it is protected and registered in the "Red
Book" of Kazakhstan.
