Lermontov's lyre sounds with undying force in Russian and world culture.
Someone will like his rebellious romanticism, the spirit of freedom. Someone

premier plays per year, which were based on dramaturgy of Gogol, Chekhov,
Ostrovskiy, Gorkiy, Shakespeare, Schiller, Moliere, and many other. The theatre
became the best school for many actors and directors of that time. Many of them,
gaining the experience, went on the work within the walls of the theatre, and soon it

The most famous play
who could know about the great disaster that
destroyed two million nomads in the 30s of the last
century, a descendant of the steppes, born in the era
of stagnation? No other way than genetic memory
suggested to the young playwright how to increase
the dry statistics figures with flesh and blood. War is
not the most terrible thing in the world ... The authors
of the play do not take the liberty to give a historical
assessment of one of the most sorrowful pages in the
annals of the Kazakh people. In the conditions of a
chamber scene, the life and fate of one young family
sometimes testify to the scale of a national tragedy
much more clearly than epic blockbusters. The heroes
of Ruben Andriasyan's production are courageous
people who experience both their own grief and the
misfortune of their fellow tribesmen with amazing
dignity.
