The research material of this work was the novel Daddy Long-Legs by Jean Webster. This novel is great because it was written in an unusual form and is a letter from a college student, created in the epistolary genre. The analyzed block of letters covers two years of the heroine's life, and those letters were selected for the study, the final blocks of which are a bright example of deviation from etiquette norms.
