Look at the picture. Are they playing classical or modern music? How does music make you feel? Pupils’ book open. Ask the pupils to look at the picture on p. 64. What can they see? (some children playing music.) What kind of music do they think it is? Is it classical or modern? (modern) Then ask the pupils to tell the class how music makes them feel. Suggested answers: Music makes me feel happy. Presentation Speaking: Learners are suggested to answer the questions about music: -What types of music do you like? (pop, rock, classical) Learners are given the cards(words are on them) with the opinions: Green-happy Pink-sad Blue-bored -What helps to make music? How do we make it? What do we use? (Peers’ support, T’s support). Students match the types of music and instruments, which help to make this type of music. PRACTICE Reading Learners are divided into pairs. They are given the texts Student A and Student B. Assessment criteria: at least 4 answers correctly. Video-watching Learners watch the video and name the instruments they see. |

Game “Missing word” Teacher writes the musical instruments from the previous lesson on the active board and allows the students some time to look at them. Then she asks students to close their eyes. Teacher erases one of the words and asks the students to open their eyes and tell which musical instrument is missing. |

Learners work in pairs and compare their answers. What’s the word? Learners write the musical instruments in the correct group. (T’s support, Peers’ support) Learners may consult with each other Find the mystery word! Learners complete the crossword and find the mystery word.
