(I, P) While-reading: Learners are given a text to read and two tasks to accomplish. The theme of the text is “THE CITY AND THE COUNTRYSIDE”. Reading the text (2min) Task 1 is to mark the statements True, False or Doesn’t given. There are 10 statements to be marked. Answer key:
Differentiation: more able learners can correct the FALSE statements Task 2 is to answer the questions related to the text. Possible answer key:
Peer-assessment is held. Discussion of the assessment criteria. Answer keys are shown on presentation. Teacher asks students to swap the handout and check according to the shown answers.
