These professions are very important because we can’t do anything without these people. They do different and useful work.


Teacher asks and answers the questions.

E.g. What profession is he \ she?

She is a pilot

He is a builder

She\He is a ………………….


Method is “snowballs”

Its method, pupils are looking at the picture and make sentences on the professions.

For. E.g.

  1. I am a teacher. I am teaching children at school.

  2. I am a doctor. I am looking after people's health.

  3. I am a journalist because I like to watch TV and this profession is interesting to meet and speak with people.

  4. I am a nurse. My job is very difficult.

  5. I am a builder. I am building a beautiful house.

  6. I am a driver. I am not driving a buss because I do not like this profession

  7. I am a cook. I make different cakes in restaurants and home.

What's the difference between the Present Simple / Present Continuous and how to use them.

We use the present simple tense when we want to talk about fixed habits or routines – things that don’t change.

We use the present continuous to talk about actions which are happening at the present moment, but will soon finish.

Compare these two statements:

  • (present simple) I play tennis.

  • (present continuous/ progressive) I am playing tennis.

(present simple) ‘I play tennis’ tells us that playing tennis is something the speaker always does. It is part of a routine or habit. We can call this a permanent situation.

(present continuous/ progressive) ‘I am playing tennis’ tells us that the speaker is playing tennis right now. Soon the game will be over. We call this a temporary situation.
