1.Leading-in stage (W) Teacher asks students about the date and day of the week and discusses the rules of behaviour in a classroom. Teacher divides pupils into two groups. 1st group “Environment” 2nd group “Protection” Warm-up Teacher shows a video about environment.
Students present their ideas to the whole group (whole group discussion) Teacher informs students about the topic of the lesson “Looking at the future and the environment ” and introduces the lesson objectives. 2. Teacher tells the students the objectives of the lesson 3. The main part of the lesson New words. Teacher works how to read new words. Group work. “Jigsaw” method. Text “Environment protection” Learners read the text with groups. Then they will to write a poster. Group leader will explain the content of the text to the team members and the next group. Text “Environment protection”
Nowadays, there are global
problems, which destructive our environmental. Some people clearly
understand it, and therefore take sare of nature. And other people
use natural resources, but don't protect our planet from littering,
water and air pollution and so on. Evaluation with traffic light:
I didn’t understand I understand but not everything I understood well
Individual work Circle the correct preposition. 1 Many ancient monuments around the world are in / at danger. 2 Everyone of us is responsible of / for keeping the planet clean. 3 Stonehenge is at / in risk because of air pollution. 4 The effects on / of water pollution on sea life can be terrible. 5 The Greeks built the temple in / at the 5th century BCE. 6 You should turn off your computer when it is not on / in use. Self –evaluation: Learners will value each other. Total 6 points Feedback Learners will be to stay a circle and say one word today’s new lesson. (environment, rubbish, earth, water, pollute air). |
