Hello My dear friends! My name is Jake. I live in London.

I want to tell you about myself. Look at my photo. I'm fat. I eat a lot of unhealthy food. I can’t run and jump. I would really like to be slim and active. Look at my menu. Please help me to solve my problem. Write a letter to me about healthy food and healthy life

  1. Look at the whiteboard. What is the theme of our lesson?


  1. Yes, you are right. The theme of our lesson is “Healthy food”. We are going to speak about healthy and unhealthy food. At the end of our lesson we will write the letter to Jake. Let’s help him to solve his problem.


  1. To be healthy we must eat healthy food.

What else should we do?

  1. Good job! Let’s learn new words: salt and pepper, cabbage, pizza, sausage, olive oil, mayonnaise, lettuce, cucumber, mushrooms, mustard.

Raise a green card if you think the food is healthy, raise a red card if you think the food is unhealthy, raise a yellow card if you don't know.

We have different points of view. What do you think about salt and pepper? Other’s opinions? What is the right answer?

  1. Well, I think that it’s time to write a letter to Jake. Divide into two groups. The first group writes about healthy food. The second group writes about junk food. We will join two parts of a letter.
