Speaker: Good morning! My name is Venera. I am a teacher of English of Blagoveshenka Secondary School. I would like to present my coaching lesson and its key features. The theme is «Vocabulary Mousetrap»

The first strategy:

Oh class, oh yes

• What is this, how do you think? Your associ’ations with this object (I name it PLATE)

• The next question for you: What kind of music is this?

• IT’S A MAGIC PLATE. Can you see magic? It’s really magic.

R - You are going to work in groups.

I - I’ll give you one magic plate and one colour pen for each group. You should write five different words in English for the theme “Kitchen ” for each corner. Target language. When I give you a signal like this (clap) you will exchange your magic plate with other group. And translate the words into Kazakh.

C – Indira, will we work in pairs? Asel, how many magic plates will I give for each group? Gulnash, should we translate the words into Russian?

The second strategy:

I - I’ll give you two puzzles for one pair. You should make the puzzles according to it’s translation. If you are ready you should give me a signal like this (finger) and I will check you up.

The third strategy:

Fly swat between two Ls or one.

R - We are going to work with the whole class.

I – Говорить и показывать. I need one person. The L should stay back to blackboard. When I name the word L should show me it on the blackboard. E.g. frog, lion, tiger. Можно импровизировать: піл, жылан. Демонстрация - Modelling in other words Do the first together

C – Indira, will we work with the whole class? Gulnash, should we translate the words?

In this case протекает процесс «Sight words» in other words зрительное запоминание слов.
