And it`s divided up in five parts

From biggest to smallest

Pacific , Atlantic, Indian, Southern, Arctic.


1.I`m the Pacific, to be specific

I`m a third of the Earth surface

Where my turf is

And my Mariana Tranch

Is the very very deepest in the sea


2. And I`m the Atlantic

Named after the greek God, Atlas

With the Bermuda triangle

And Gulf stream in me


3. I`m the Indian Ocean

I`m the warmest around

4. And I`m the Southern ocean

Where Antarctica is found


5. I`m Arctic the smallest and and the shallowest

But that`s fine , you sea

I`ve got more ice than you`ve ever seen

Even polar bears walk in me


We`re the

Pacific , Atlantic, Indian, Southern, Arctic

Aims :

today we will read text for specific information

we`ll do the tasks of methods which are used during the lesson and may be some of you talk and give opinions about oceans

Pre –reading task:

You will be assess by following assessment criteria

Study new words

Do the tasks of methods :

a. think/pare/share

b. Cubism

c. Spider

Talk about the oceans

In order you will be able to do exercises and talk about the lesson you should know new words. Pay attention and listen to the audio carefully

Make up, cover, join, volcanic activity, mountain range, breeze, monsoon, flood.

Pupils listen their pronunciation, they read it and they find their definition.

Let`s find definition of our new words

Make up-complete an amount or group

Cover- a thing which lies on, over or around something

Join-become linked or connected

Volcanic activity-an opening activity in the earth`s crust from which lava, ash, and got gases flow

Mountain range- a group or line mountains with particular name

Breeze- a gentle wind

Monsoon- the wind that carries heavy rain

Flood – an overflow of a large amount of water beyond its normal limits
