ORGANISATION MOMENT:

Warm up

  • T shows PPT to revise the previous lesson. There are animals hidden behind a tree in every slide. But some parts are seen for Ss. Ss should guess an animal.

  • T nominates very active Ss at the end of the activity.

  • T gathers Ss in a circle and demonstrates the pictures of the weather and introduces different weather adjectives hot, cold, rainy, stormy, cloudy, sunny, windy, snowy

Ss should repeat after the T.

  • Playing the game “ Go fish”

- T explains the rule of the game. Ss in pairs or in small groups play a memory game ‘Go Fish’. Ss take turns to turn over two images and then turn them back over. Ss are looking for / need to remember images that both indicate a weather condition, e.g. umbrella /raincoat [It’s rainy].


  • T practise the song “rain rain go away” with Ss.


Handicraft/Formative assessment

T asks Ss to sit and work individually. First T asks students to cut down pictures of the weather and explains the instruction. Every S should remember a number and the weather adjectives very carefully then Ss should glue it on the paper T check Ss understanding about the new topic.
