Good day, dear pupils and teachers! You are welcome to see the game “1001 proverbs and 101 riddles”!

The participants of the game are the pupils of 7^th forms.

The game has 4 rounds.

Let me introduce you with our players. Let’s applaud the 1^st proverb teller. Now let’s applaud the 2^nd proverb teller, let’s applaud the 3^rd proverb teller. And let’s applaud the 4^th proverb teller.

The 1^st round is called “Who knows more?”

That’s very good, thank you. Now let’s applaud to the pupils.

Now dear proverbs teller, your second task is to continue the proverbs. I shall begin the proverb and you must finish it. For every correct proverb 10 points.

Our 4^th round is called “Question – answer”. I’ll show three papers you must choice one of them. Please, come here. There are 4 letters. The letter A,B,C,D. That’s why you must answer my question by this letter. For example: The name of the fruit? Apple. Banana. For every correct word 10 points.

Our 5^th round is called “Who is the best?”

At this round you must translate this proverbs into Kazakh language. For every correct proverb 10 points.

1. A good beginning makes a good ending- Бітер істің басына жақсы келер қасына.

2. East or west home is best – Өз үйім-өлең төсегім.

3. Better late than never – Ештен кеш жақсы.
