A letter to Abai.

A letter to Abai

Hello, Abai Kunanbaiuly! How are you? I'm writing a letter to you from the future. This year will mark your 175th anniversary.

I am glad that you lived in our country. Because, you are an educator of our people, you are a person who developed the literature and culture of Kazakhstan. In this difficult time, you were trying to develop your people, not your interests. And at this time, I am very grateful to you. But sometimes I am concerned about two questions: "what would happen if you were not in this life?" and “would our people have developed, if were people like you at the present time?”.

As the grandson of Auez Mukhtar said, “the era in which Abai lived is called the Abai era”, you are the unforgettable soul of your time. And I believe that the works you wrote will never be forgotten. Because no matter how difficult your life was, you left an unforgettable mark on yourself. And that’s why you live with us in your works. Thank you for your great work, which is not measured by anything.
