 At first, l would like to divide you in two groups. Come to the blackboard and choose one card. Such as our last grammar theme was `Adjective`. Choosing correct adjective we must make your own group.

Tell me please, what is the famous city will we speak? We are going to speak about one of the most beautiful cities in the world, the capital of Great Britain, London. Today we’ll make a trip to London.

Today we’ll visit some places of interest on a red double-decker bus. It is waiting for you. Here are some stations, let’s speak about them when the bus is coming up. Would you like to go to London?

London is the capital of Great Britain. It is one of the largest cities in the world and the largest city in Europe. Its pop­ulation is about 8 million. London is situated on the river Thames. The city is very old and one of the biggest city in the UK. There are many places of interest: Big Ben , Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, London Eye.

Buckingham Palace is the official residence (резиденция) of Queen Elizabeth.

Big Ben is the famous clock tower of London

Tower Bridge is one of London’s famous bridges.

London Eye is a large wheel (доңғалақ) located on the south bank of the River Thames.
