TU is one of the leading universities in Kazakhstan
and Central Asia in training specialists for the food, processing,
textile and light industries, engineering and IT, economics and
business, tourism, service and hospitality industries.Since the
beginning of its formation, Almaty Technological University has
been training specialists in various fields in the field of
business, management, administration, and light industry. ATU
occupies a leading position in Central Asia and is included in the
list of the 5 best technical universities in Kazakhstan. Students
are offered universal programs in specialized areas and a modern
education system, which includes bachelor's, master's, doctoral,
double-degree education and a distance learning program.

Technical universities of Almaty provide various programs according to international standards. At ATU, education is based on the principle of active involvement of students in the educational and research process. The University provides programs for different categories of students, from undergraduate students to established specialists, teachers and scientists. Bachelor's degree provides an opportunity to obtain a specialty in the field of biotechnology, automation, software, design, management, information systems, management, catering and hotel business; to master professions related to light industry, tourism, finance, ecology, economics and others. The Technological University of Almaty provides 33 bachelor's degree programs.
The Master's degree program offers 32 programs in such areas as biological and related sciences, information and communication technologies, engineering, business and management, service sector, manufacturing and processing industries, standardization, certification and metrology.
The doctoral program is an in-depth study of disciplines, postgraduate education in economics, management, biotechnology and other disciplines.
The additional educational program (minor) includes the study of business, taxation, bioinformatics, industrial automation and other areas.
The specialties have been developed in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. The University offers education in several languages, a multilingual training system with different levels. Teachers with qualifications and work experience in foreign universities are involved.
