Work with vocabulary. Distribute the worksheets with the new words to the students. Teach the vocabulary and have the students repeat the words for practice. Video presentation. Show a video in a cartoon/animation format created with AI on the topic. Discuss the content of the video with the students afterward. Individual Task. Distribute worksheets for an individual activity. Students match the animals with their descriptive facts and then create one sentence based on the matching. Explain the task on the worksheet to the students.
Brain Break. Show the students a short video with movement actions and guide them to follow along, performing the exercises to energize and refresh them
Pair Work – Aquarium Method. In pairs, students use bottles filled with water to write some facts about an unknown animal. They then try to guess the animal based on the facts, read the facts to another pair..
Group Work – “Tug of War” Game. In groups, students play the “Tug of Questions” game. They answer questions while competing, promoting teamwork, engagement, and friendly competition. |
Students repeat the words, practice pronunciation, and read the words aloud. Students watch the video attentively, discuss its content, answer questions, and share opinions. Students read facts, match them with animals, and write one sentence based on the facts.
