Do you like Pizza?

Students choose one piece of pizza and give explanation of words:

Fantasy, comedy, tragedy, adventure, drama, science fiction, horror.

Motivate and praise with thumb.

Dividing into groups.

Do you like to go to cinema? What genre do you like to go? Then all students choose one ticket, which written genre of films: comedy, action, drama. And to get into groups of 3 by these tickets.

Skim and scan the text about the film of “Amre”.

The Shaken Aimanov Kazakh film studio, film producer and investor Alidar Utemuratov together with Hollywood producer Cary Granat and Oscar winner Ed Jones started film project with the working title “Amre”. Kazakhstani actors get the main parts in it – Sanzhar Madiyev as Amre and holder of the Moscow film festival prize Erkebulan Dairov as Mustafa Chokai. The cast also includes popular British actor Ben Aldridge and American actress Abbie Cornish.

The film tells the story of a bright, but short life of the Kazakh talent-dramatic tenor Amre Kashaubaev, who lived in 1888-1934.

He was the 1^st in the world to present to the European public the vocal art of Kazakhs and natural instrument dombyra at the World Music Contest in the framework of the Exposition Internatioanal des Arts Decoraifs et Industriels Moderness in Paris in 1925. In it, 36 year- old Amre, an artist of the USSR delegation took II place and won the silver medal. The film will feature Kazakh songs from Amre’s repertoire.
