Today we will talk about “Great Britain”

Exercise 3

1. Read the text correctly.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland includes the island of Great Britain, a small part of the island of Ireland and many smaller islands. The short name is the United Kingdom (UK) or Britain. The United Kingdom includes four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Sixty four million people live in the UK.

The capital of Britain is London. It’s the biggest city in the country. It’s one of the most crowded and most popular citiesin the UK. More than million people live there.
