The aims:

To develop pupils logical thinking

To enlarge pupils knowledge spelling

Methods and way: Competition between the pupils

Good day dear guests, our lovely teachers and pupils! You are welcome to our English party “Leaders of our school!” You will see a competition among the pupils. Let me introduce our judges. We ask judges, not to be too critical and forgive our participants’ mistakes they may make.

There are 7 stages in this competition. Let me introduce with each of them:

1 Introduction 5. Seven wonders

2 Warm up 6. Zhorga

3 Do you know 7. Doda

4 Baiga

Stage 1

The first part of our competition is introduction of teams. Each team must prepare a presentation about themselves. We wish them Good luck!

Stage 2

The next stage is Warm-up. You have to replace these words in a certain places. For example:

Stage 3

3^rd level "Do you know?” You must riddle and say the answer into English, Russian and Kazakh. In 3 languages – 15 point, in 2 languages – 10 point, in 1 language – 5 point.

10. A building where doctors and nurses care for people who are ill.

11. A building or room in a building where you can buy things, clothes and foods.

12. A small point of light that can be seen in the sky at night.

13. Someone whose job is to teach. 
(a teacher, учитель, мұғалім) 

14. A large wild cat with yellow and black lines on its fur. 
(a tiger, тигр, жолбарыс) 
15. A place where are you pay to watch a film. 
(a cinema, кинотеатр, кинотеатр) 

Stage 4

The next part is Baiga. In this part of the competition in the word chain you have to find words in a certain time. It will be better to you if you will find many words and you can earn needed points.
