Dividing into groups with the help of cards. There are three groups: the first group is football, the second one is cricket and the last group is basketball.

Each group read each passage and translate it in groups.

Students look at exercise 2 b p98 and do it in their copybooks. They should find four school subjects and five sports in the text.

The next task is exercise 2a, “a hot chair” from each group one pupil will answer for the following questions

3. What sports can students do?

4. How many students are there in the school?

5. What happens every day?

6. What do many students do when they finish school?

7. Which competitions do students take part in?

• More support can be given at the beginning and in the middle of lesson by providing low-performing learners with more support.
