Let’s learn new vocabulary. - Celebrate – to do something special for a holiday or event - Holiday – a special day when people do not go to work or school - Special – something different and important - Respect – to show care or admiration for someone/something - Poem – a short piece of writing, often with rhyme - Female – a girl or a woman - Picture – a drawing or photo that shows something. Teacher repeats words on new words with the help of artificial intelligence
Task 1.Individual work. Match the words with their meaning.
Watch the video about Women’s day and Father’s day.
Task 2.Then read the text and mark the statement True(T) or False (F).
Task 3. Pair work. Guees the celebration. This task is riddle. Students hide riddles about holidays in the present simple.
Task 4. Group work. Create a poster. 1-group: "Create a poster about your favorite national holiday" 2-group: "Design a new celebration and make a poster about it (name, date, activities)"
