Greeting:

Good morning, boys and girls! I'm glad to see you. How are you today?

What date is it today? What day of the week is today? Who is absent? What's the weather like today? What is season now? You are right.

Well, today we'll talk about clothes, seasons. We'll do a lot of interesting exercises today.

Let’s do phonetic drill

Teacher checks homework learn by heart new words. Teacher tells about weather. Teacher asks children when they wear dress, jeans, boots……. Teacher divides into two groups. Now let’s divide clothes into four groups. It will be spring, winter, summer, autumn. Each group will have two seasons. Teacher will show clothes children will write it.

Teacher show definitions of clothes on the blackboard and children say name of clothes.

Read and tell name of clothesThey’re comfortable shoes for sport.

4. It’s type of shoes. We wear it when weather is rainy.

Listening

Writing. Teacher gives text and questions. Children read and answer the questions. For each group will different questions. Children should tell another group what is text about and read answers to the questions (15 min)

Text: Clothes Britain

People wear different clothes in different seasons. In summer they put on a T-shirt or a shirt, jeans or shorts. When men go to work they put on a suit, a shirt and a tie. Women put on a skirt and a blouse.

In autumn when the weather is cool, British people wear a coat and a hat. Raincoats are very usual, because the weather is rainy. They carry umbrellas.

In winter people wear coats, scarves and gloves. They put on warm shoes or boots.

When spring comes people put on something less warm. The most popular clothes are jeans, jackets and other things made of denim. Jeans are casual clothes. They are international.
