GREETING

WARM UP (Whole class)

Teacher suggested to watch video about days of the week.

After watching video teacher shows cards with name days of the week. Learners should repeat new words after teacher. (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday). Then teacher stick the cards on the board in order. Teacher gives the commands.

for learners “close your eyes” and removes 1 card. Then teacher says for learners “open your eyes” and learners should guess what card is lost. Action repeats one more time.

Teacher asks the following question:

What day of the week is it today?
What is your favorite day of the week?
How many days in the week?

PRESENTATION and PRACTICE

Teacher gives the task for learners. In pairs learners should complete the words. (Pair works)
