In Kazakhstan, distance learning uses zoom or educational tools available on the Internet. Distance learning means that students or school students study at home on their own. Distance education is a long way off, but it can connect students to universities around the world. Online learning also helps the teacher and student because they save time on lesson preparation. The effectiveness of online learning for everyone depends largely on time, as students and teachers spend the rest of their time with their family or other work. But offline learning is also good. Many universities in Kazakhstan offer classes in the Zoom program. I think zoom is one of the most effective programs. Currently, schools and universities have switched to autonomous learning, but the distance between classes remains. Distance learning is very effective for students. If we study Offline now I think there will be a feeling of fear among all students because they think if they talk to each other they can get infected. But this is on the one hand correct. I think people need to do everything possible not to get infected. Distance education should not be confused with correspondence education. In distance learning, students learn 100% of the amount of information. Thus, distance learning is when knowledge is transmitted from teacher to student at a distance using various programs. Distance learning is not just a word, it is a means of gaining knowledge and passing exams online, but also a kind of channel for direct communication between teacher and student. In one semantic connection with online learning, the words and phrases " e-learning “and” e-learning“are used. They indicate the student's ability to acquire knowledge in various formats: audio, video, text with hyperlinks, infographics, programs, games, tools and materials for obtaining knowledge through augmented reality, and so on. The concept of “distance learning " indicates that there is a distance between the student and the teacher. "Online learning" means that the study of a particular topic takes place using an Internet connection. That is, the student and the teacher are also separated from each other. Online learning is the acquisition of knowledge and skills using a computer or other gadget connected to the Internet. This is here-and-now learning, mediated by connection. This format appeared in the field of distance learning and became its logical continuation with the development of the Internet and digital technologies. It is necessary to work on improving the distance format and the development of online educational platforms precisely in the long term, and the perception of this format as temporary for the period of a pandemic is erroneous.

In general, the distance learning format was planned to be carried out in accordance with several directions: television lessons, Internet platforms, as well as in the format of transferring assignments through Kazpost or by hand on paper.

Many higher education institutions offer a distance learning service in which you are only required to submit your documents and start using zoom or another option. Distance learning allows students to access educational materials test tasks video recordings of classes, etc. The main principle of distance education is the use of virtual space for teacher-student interaction. At the same time, the basis for obtaining education remotely is not completely independent work, but rather close contact and communication with the teacher in the necessary material for understanding enough. Distant learning is when a child doesn’t go to school, but studies at home on his own or with the help of a tutor. It may be because of his health, or because his family travels a lot or for some other reasons. There are of course advantages of such learning – you can get concentrated on what you read and study, you have as much time as you need to understand the material. But on the other hand school is not only about studying, it’s about communication with other people, it’s finding your place in the society, getting friends, learning how to behave in public and so on. Distant education also has another meaning. When we go to university or want to start some advanced courses there is an option to have distant learning. The advantage of such learning is that you can study in another country without leaving your own one. It gives you more freedom in your schedule – you don’t have to attend lessons, so one can combine studying and working. Distant learning gives you a chance to have a certificate in any field that you like and choose education you want.

American people like this kind of education. But European people also started to have interest because distance learning gives us new opportunities. I believe that soon many people will pass these courses and they will have 2 and more professions in future.This is clearly an unprecedented time, and for universities, this may force online learning to become the new normal. Multiple studies suggest that most students are already confident that technology-enabled learning works, but this has probably been a difficult transition for some faculty members. The advantages of distance learning are economy, the ability to learn from anywhere in the world, accessibility, variability and adaptability to an inclusive environment when studying materials. The teacher can adapt to each student as much as possible. And the maximum amount of time will be devoted to the topic on which a particular student has more gaps. There are many excellent benefits of distance learning. For one, it proves less expensive to support. For another, distance learning is not limited by geography. For example, you don’t need to be in the United States to take classes at a university located in America. Due to the coronavirus, distance learning — typically a style of teaching utilized by colleges and universities — is now being adopted by elementary and high school students as well. Entire school districts and campuses are being forced to create online-based learning opportunities and do it effectively.

The disadvantages of distance learning are mainly psychological and technical. At the same time, the disadvantages change over time. And bad internet connection and e-books. Technological progress has caused an argument about education. The thing is that some people believe that distant learning is better, and other people stick to the point that going to school is the only way to get good education.
