The procedure of the competition lesson :

I . Org-moment :
- Dear children! Today we’ ll have a competition lesson. It is an unusual lesson. Because today we will compete between two grades : the 5^th and 6^th grades. The 5^th grade is called “Friendship” and the 6^th grade is called “Knowledge” ( 6 students in each team ). Today you have to show your knowledge of Kazakh , Russian and English languages. The President of our Republic K.Zh Tokayev pays great attention to education, in his ” Message to the People of Kazakhstan” he also underlines that new generation must know 3 languages ( Kazakh, English and Russian ) and use them in communication. So, I hope that today you will show good knowledge of Kazakh, English and Russian. Try to be active. Now let us start our 1^st round. It is called “Greeting each other”.

I have a very good friend. Her name is Helen. My friend and I always do our best to help one another. My friend is a very good, kind and clever girl. We often spend our free time together. When we have some free time, we go for walks, read and discuss books, watch films, go to the shops or play computer games. Playing computer games is our hobby. Both of us are fond of sport. We go in for swimming and often go to the swimming pool together. I love my friend very much. I think she is a true friend. I try to do my best to be a good friend too.

My hobby is painting and drawing. I have finished art school and now I paint and draw in my free time. I depict things that have impressed me deeply: beautiful flowers, poetic landscapes, ancient ruins. I like to paint portraits as well. Sometimes I create decorative compositions, large in scale and bright in colour. For me painting is a means to understand the beauty and a way to express my own emotions, feelings and perception of life. It is important for me to visit museums and art galleries. Painting is not the only hobby of mine. I read a lot of books. In my free time I like to listen to music. Classical music is my favourite one.
