If I were…
If I were an entrepreneur or (businessman) I
would do a lot of good things for my school and my village. I have
seen on TV programs how some good and generous businessmen help
their schools and their neighbourhoods by providing financial or
any other kinds of support. In other words, I would contribute to
my school and community in three major ways: helping the school
with facilities, organizing different charities for disadvantaged
people, and encouraging both adults and children to care about
nature and environment.
As a successful entrepreneur, first and for most,
I would begin helping my school and its bright students. Then I
will be happy to facilitate our school with new and updated
personal computers, laptops, smartboards, and other technologies.
Moreover, I would consider helping outstanding teachers and
students to travel abroad for summer or winter vacations because I
believe that traveling abroad will broaden their horizons and
encourage them to accomplish even more
achievements.
Next, I would encourage everybody in the village
to take care of our environment. First of all, I would ask teachers
to work together on educating children about the significance of
our environment and what we as humans can do to sustain our nature
healthy. To carry out this goal I will explain to students that
nature surrounded us is a representation of us. Therefore, we need
to keep it clean and be responsible for the litter that we
generate. Also, it's important to keep in mind about saving energy
and not wasting water. In addition to Saturday works which we
already do every autumn and spring, I would call adults to clean up
their streets or areas where they live, or to plant trees and
flowers with their families, friends, and neighbours. This type of
group work helps people of the village to get to know each other
better and to build their common experience and even common goals
and plans for future, bigger projects.
Further, I believe that I can help my community
in two ways such as devoting my time or donating materially.
Speaking of devoting the time I would volunteer in some events,
organize sports events or concerts for charity, or even just help
out neighbours. If I consider donating materially then I will
definitely help families in need. For example, if a family has a
sick member but they cannot afford to buy some medicines or to have
a surgery, or some families have many young children but they don't
have enough food or clothing. However, I will not be able to do
everything just by myself thus I would invite other wealthy people
of our village to support disadvantaged families by sharing some
money or goods or helping with employment. This would contribute a
lot to our community.
In
conclusion, if I were an entrepreneur I would have much more
financial and other resources to help out my school and community.
Moreover, I would definitely dedicate myself in improving peoples'
lives and the environment that surrounds us because I believe these
are the steps of making changes in our world.
