2.Checking – up of the home task: What was your homework for today? Now let’s practise our pronuncation! - Listen to me Fresh fried fish. Fish fresh fried. Fried fish fresh. Fish fried fresh. - Repeat after me - Read Today’s theme of our lesson “Types of literature” now open your students book page 75, and look at the Ex 1 Which types of literature are non-fiction? Fiction? 1.action & adventure 2.fairy tale 3.science fiction 4.biography 5.mystery & suspense 6.horror 7.articles in newspapers/magazines 8.fables 9.legends GAME: Find the Colour/Colour touch The rules are pretty simple, gather all the students together and call out ‘find something….’ The children then have to run around the classroom and touch something that’s the same colour. This is a great way to get the children moving, active and engaged. 2. GAME Simon Says HOW TO PLAY: Stand in front of the class (you are Simon for the duration of this game). Do an action and say Simon Says [action]. The students must copy what you do. Repeat this process choosing different actions - you can be as silly as you like and the sillier you are the more the children will love you for it. Ex 2 Look at some books in the school library or at your house. Which are fiction? Which are non-fiction?
