Warm up

Draw simple sketches of a bee and a king on the board. Point to them and say: bee and king.

Ask them to read and act out the story.

S will read and discuss how a bee helps a king.

Brainstorming

Divide the students into small groups to brainstorm ways that they can help people, the community, and the environment. Ask the students to think about and discuss what they need to do to be a responsible friend and family member, as well helping in the commumity.

New lesson

Put up the pictures of new words and explain the meaning.

Read out a few sentences spoken by a character in the story. Ask individual pupils to tell who said them.
