How to succeed in learning a foreign language?

Nowadays, the most important thing in our country is learning foreign language. The main language is English and our native is Kazakh. Astana, the capital of our country has international school named Miras. There are everywhere, everything and every word is in English. Even there are so many native English speakers. So, my sister told me about this school, because she is crazy about learning languages.

I never like foreign languages such as an English or Russian. In my opinion, to learn languages are just waste of time. But my sister doesn’t think so. Her opinion is opposite to mine. She always teaches herself books and she is interested in English. So she wants to be able to speak fluently in this language. She wants to be available for everything. She said: “If the person wants to do something he likes, he will do everything”. She advised that we should break the language barrier.

And at last she told me: “If you want to develop your English skills you must live with it, live with foreign language, speak on it every day, stop talking rubbish and begin talking in English. You should watch cartoons and English films without any subtitles. You must do your best to learn English. Every day you should pay attention at least minutes for grammar and vocabulary. Because without knowing elementary skills you can’t improve your English skills. If you give up to do nothing and begin pull yourself together you can achieve any heights!”
