What is the weather like today?

Sing the song from unit 3.

Allow time for the pupils to look at the pictures and to try and read the story before playing the recording. Then ask pupils to find the answer to the question: Why has the man got a box?(So that he can speak –there is a voice in the box) Then have done Ex 1 from Activity book.

Have the pupils read the story and write their answers.

Introduce past simple and new words.

Have them do ex 3b: if they work in pairs, they choose two items each and write their descriptions for their partner to guess say which item it is.

I’ve got a time travel clock song.Pupils sing.

Then do exercises 3a,3b, and 3c from A.B. Check their answers.

Teacher ask pupils what they’ve learned at the lesson; pupils share using simple phrases and patterns

Give them exercises from the A.B. as a home task.
