Exercise
1. Will practise listening,
speaking and reading.
Will answer the
question: Why has the man got a box? (So that he can speak – there
is a voice in the box.)
Topic:
The characters arrive at a
museum in the future. They see items
from today’s world, such as mobile phones,
displayed as museum exhibits. A woman and
two guards appear
with ‘cognoplates’ on their
heads a futuristic way of
communicating without talking. An older man (called
a ’speaker’, with a voice in a box)
explains that they had expected Mr Wilson and the
children and he tells them all to go with
him.
Will listen and
repeat new words.
Will write new words
in their vocabularies.
Will
remember
and learn them by
heart.
