8. Procedure of the lesson: a) Org. moment: - Good morning, pupils,

-How are you?

– I’m glad to see you,

- Sit down, please.

b) checking up the pupils’ presence or absence and talking about the weather for today.

- Who is on duty today?

– Who is absent?

- What is the weather like today?

-What is the day of the week?

-What date is it today?

c) dividing the students into groups.

They have to take pictures 1^st Adjective 2^nd Comparative 3^rd Opposites

d) psychologically preparing for the lesson: reading all together tongue twisters

7.Checking up the home task: Giving the short test with grammar and vocabulary.

Assessing of the pupils( giving cards with picture of the anniversary to the 25year of the independence of Kazakhstan)

7. Presentation of the new lesson “ It’s not really a choice”

Ex: 9 p 50 skimming and scanning of the conversation between Nick, Amy and Duncan. I’ll give the part of the conversation to the first group, and the second part to the next group. So they have to read and translate, then explain the meaning of the conversation to others.

Ex:10 p 51 Vocabulary bank. Write, translate and match them with the meanings a-f. Jigsaw 1^st group translate, 2^nd group match, 3^rd group find who says them

Task1 from Episode 2 exercise 1. Watch the video clip. Are the sentences true or false?

Linda is protesting because she thinks that …

A celebration is being held in Fairbank Fields because it has just been announced that the council’s plans have been changed. The trees won’t be cut down after all and the playground will be built in a different part of the field. It’s a happy outcome for everyone.

Extra work with extra cards. Giving the weaker students the cards to their degree, to mark their knowledge.
