Осы зерттеудің өзектілігі-ағылшын тілін меңгеруде оқу бағдарламасы бойынша берілген “Рахаттанушылықпен оқу” ағылшынша “Reading for pleasure” тарауында берілген ертегілер үзіндісін оқудан басталды.

Ізденіс жүргізгенде:Гордон Д., Джекобс Д.,Зимняя И.А.,Колкер Я.М.,Пассов Е.И. Щерба Л.В. атты ғалымдардың еңбектерін оқыдым, зерттеулеріне тоқталдым.

The purpose of  this  study is to examine the peculiarities of English fairy tales, as well as its role in the moral education of secondary school children. In the education of people by kind, merciful, honest fairy tale plays the most important role. A child who, "grew up in fairy tales," will never commit meanness, will keep optimism in the hardest moments of life, because the fairy tale is the best teacher. Therefore, we can safely say that the study of fairy tales is always relevant and necessary direction of work in a modern school.

The objectives of this study are the adoption of educational moments of the fairy tale, the improvement of the moral values of the student, usage of artistic essence and means of language.

The relevance of this research work: It is necessary to teach students to read different texts in a foreign language with secondary school students and helps each student to improve their feelings, such as pride, admiration and love, allowing them to communicate freely and understand a foreign language.

The novelty of this research work: It creates the ability to read in English and increases the characteristics and methods of working with popular fairy tales.

The fairy tales are divided into several types.Such as: folk fairy tales, wonder fairy tale, social fairy tale, fairy tale about animals, peace, the good and the bad, the moral education. All fairy tales have one common feature:

Common Elements of Fairy Tales:

1. A fairy tale begins with "Once upon a time...”

2. Fairy Tales have clearly defined Good characters vs. Evil characters.

3. Royalty is usually present in a fairy tale, a beautiful princess/handsome prince.

4. Fairy tales have a problem that needs to be solved.

5. Fairy tales have happy endings – “they all lived happily ever after.”

5 Reasons why fairy tales are good for children:

1. They boost a child's imagination and cultural literacy

2. They teach us right from wrong

3. They develop critical thinking skills

4. They can help children deal with emotions themselves

5. And finally, they are great fun!

Fairy tales help to teach children an understanding of right and wrong, not through direct teaching, but through implication.

Зерттеу жұмысында:«Robin Hood»,«Escape to Narnia» Нарния еліне қашу, «Cinderella»Күлше қыз,«Peter Pen»,«Harry Potter»,«Snow White» Ақшақар және жеті ергежейлі атты ертегілерін зерттедім.

“The wonderful Wizard of Oz”, «Оз әлемінің таңғажайып сиқыршысы» атты ертегі кейіпкерлеріне пікір айтқан сиқыршының сөзін мен Абай атамыздың 17-ші сөзіндегі пайымдауларымен байланыстыра отырып қарастырдым. Кемеңгер ойшыл Ақыл, Қайрат, Жүрекке ғылым сөзімен тоқтау айтпай ма?! Осы тоқтау сөздің үлгісін ағылшын ертегісінде кездестірдім.

1-сызбада ғалымның сөздерін қысқаша орналастырдым.

Қорыта айтқанда, ертегілерде қаншама ескірмейтін даналық жатыр?! Кейіпкерлер-оқушыларды ізгілікке, мейірім мен ынтымаққа, еңбексүйгіштікке, адамға қажет барлық құндылықтарға баулиды.

Өз тілінде оқыған ертегі кейіпкерлерін ағылшын елінің ертегі кейіпкерлерімен салыстыра оқыса, кез келген оқушы мол рухани азық алатынына сенемін.
