Modern Partnership

The two nations partnered in creating the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA). Today, CICA has 22 member nations and has become one of the major forums and structures for guarding international peace and security across all of Asia.

The two nations are also close diplomatic partners in the Istanbul Process, which is trying to bring peace at last to Afghanistan.

The Turkish-Kazakh relationship took a giant leap forward when President NursultanNazarbayev visited Ankara in October 2012 and the two nations set up the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. The Council was followed by a Joint Strategic Planning Group. It held its first meeting on April 26 during Foreign Minister Davutoglu’s visit to Astana.

The JSPG is working on plans to expand a wide range of bilateral issues, “including the status and prospects of political dialogue, trade and economic, investment, military-technical, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation, inter-parliamentary relations and issues of cooperation in the security sphere.

Kazakhstan - Turkey relations

T urkey is the first country to recognize the independence of Kazakhstan. Common historical, cultural and moral ties between Turkey and Kazakhstan are the basis of our rapidly developing relations. In the wake of Kazakhstan’s independence, the basis of our relations and cooperation in various areas has been regulated through many agreements and protocols signed with this country. Kazakhstan has become one of the most significant political and economic partners of Turkey in the region in accordance with the level of political relations we have achieved with Kazakhstan.

K azakhstan is a country with a rich historical and cultural past.

Located in the center of Eurasia, Kazakhstan was at the crossroads of ancient civilizations of the world, at the crossroads of transport routes, social and economic, cultural and ideological relations between East and West, North and South, between Europe and Asia, between the largest state formations of the Eurasian continent

Turkey - this is an amazing country. The diversity of climate and terrain features in Turkey have led to a wide variety of flora and fauna. See all of this comes a lot of tourists. In the mountains of the coastal area is dominated by vegetation typical of semi-dry subtropics, on the plateaus - characteristic of subtropical semi-deserts.

Education of Kazakhstan and Turkey

The first stage of education in Kazakhstan is elementary (or primary) school for grades one through four. The second is secondary school for middle grades from five through nine. Upon graduation from secondary school students are given the choice of either continuing to attend the same school (high school -senior grades 10-11) or entering a vocational or technical school. Both of these schools are meant to provide one, along with the certificate of secondary education with a number of useful skills (e.g. those of an electrician, technical or computer operators.) Having completed one's secondary education, one can either become a part of work force or go on college (institution of higher learning-Institute).

Turkisheducation system is under the supervision and control of the state, namely the Ministry of National Education. According to the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, everyone has the right to receive education. Education is compulsory from ages 6 to 14 and free in state schools. The country's primary schools currently have a 98 percent participation rate. 
The academic year in Turkish education institutions generally begins in the mid-September or early October and continues to May or early June. There is also a two-week winter break in February.
