V. Briefly about what the Landmarks is

Landmark - a place, thing or object that deserves special attention, is famous or remarkable for something, for example, being a historical heritage, artistic value.

A landmark is not just a monument of history or art, but an object of mass consumption, a unique construct, a product created by mass culture to satisfy the needs of a new type of consumer. Landmarks can also be places of strange and unexplained phenomena, such as Loch Ness (thanks to the Loch Ness Monster) in Scotland or the site of a supposed UFO crash near Roswell in the USA. Places where ghosts are supposed to appear are also tourist attractions.

VIII. Briefly about what the London Eye is

The London Eye is a London Ferris wheel located in Lambeth on the south bank of the Thames. The second largest in Europe after Moscow and one of the largest in the world. Opened March 2000

From a height of 135 meters (approximately 45 floors), in sunny weather there is a view of almost the whole of London and its surroundings at a distance of up to 40 kilometers. This Ferris wheel is a family project of husband-and-wife architects David Marks and Julia Barfield. The implementation of the project took six years.
