Theme: The Leader of the 21^st Century

Aims: to develop communicative skills and abilities , to develop the student` interest in the subject of English , to educate the feeling of love and responsibility for our country.

Connection of the subjects: English, Kazakh, Geography, History and Music.

Visual aids: cards, a blackboard.

Steps of the competition.

5. 4^th round is Kokpar.

Procedure of the competition.

Presenter: Good afternoon, dear teachers and children! Welcome to our competition «The Leader of the XXIst century»! The theme of our competition- «Kazakhstan is My Country» . We will speak about our country , our Motherland.

Today we gathered here to choose the best student of the school . Our intellectual game consists of 5 stages.

The 1^st round of our competition is Baiga. You must answer the questions as possible and who answer first will get 10 points. The pupils who gets less points than others will quit the game. Good luck!

40 points: Who are the authors of new anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan?

The 4^th round is Kokpar. The task is to answer the questions as quickly as you can.

4. What was Abay Kunanbayev (A poet, composer.)

5. What chambers does Kazakhstan parliament consist of (the Senate and Mazhilis )
